I am Enes Hajdarpasic, and I have been practicing complex litigation since 2011 in both the private and public sectors. During this time, I have represented business clients in complex commercial litigation matters and various federal agencies as an Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA) for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. Utilizing my combined private sector and public service experience, I head the law firm’s litigation department, focusing on commercial and immigration litigation. I began my legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Lourdes I. Santiago in the New Jersey Superior Court, Hudson County. Following my clerkship, I worked in the private sector, representing plaintiffs and defendants in various civil litigation matters. In particular, I represented business clients in construction litigation, employment litigation, claims between lenders, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, and personal injury claims. I have represented clients at each stage of the litigation process, from attempting to resolve matters in the pre-litigation stage through discovery, motion practice, and final adjudication and appeals. Before joining Onal Gallant Bayram & Amin PC, I served as the first fully dedicated civil immigration AUSA for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, representing agencies such as U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Department of State in federal lawsuits. I successfully litigated numerous complex cases, including multiple class actions, emergency requests for preliminary injunctions, mandamus complaints, challenges to agency immigration decisions, and petitions for writ of habeas corpus. Additionally, I served as an Assistant Chief Counsel (ACC) at the Department of Homeland Security, where I litigated hundreds of removal proceeding hearings in immigration court, including asylum claims, bond hearings, and various other petitions and requests for immigration relief.
