H1B Grace Period ending, but I have a Transfer Offer Ready
I got laid off on April 22nd, and my 60 day grace period ends on June 21st.
I just received a new offer today (June 17) however the company has said that they may not be able to file until the start

You can file B2 COS but then your H1B will probably be required to be filed in Consular processing than an extension of status. If the attorney is confident that they can file H1B with the extension of status even after 60 days, then you can try that option. You can add your severance (if any) paydays to 60 days grace as confirmed by Attorneys.
